Segway is a technological mravel. It can travel about 17 miles on one battery with speeds og 12.5 miles per hour but it is not too popular bucause it look like a toy.
I Think the segway is can be more than "toy",but it can be a sport likes racing. We need accelerate speed of it and make it safer more than now, also make a racecourse only for segway. I think it will be the exciting and interesting sport because segway is a fantastic inventor. It respond immidiately. That is easy to controll and move. If segway have 4 wheels, a paddle and shock absorber like the picture. The segway will stornger,faster, safer, more comfortable and more exciting. I sure that people who love speed and extremsports is going to play this sport and love it more than car racing and nowaday extreamsports.
