The scholarship was awarded for the second year. The goal and aim of the scholarships and the Yanghyun foundation is to foster the needs of the future maritime experts and make the shipping and transport industry more sufficient. Four students of STC-Korea received the scholarships. The Dutch Ambassador of the Royal Kingdom of the Netherlands attended the whole ceremony and he congratulated the students. He also expressed his gratitude to Yanghyun Foundation for their ongoing support and interest for STC-Korea. Yanghyun foundation operates on various businesses and supports the research for developing the shipping & transport industry in Korea. They already delivered scholarships to Korea Maritime University and Mokpo Maritime University. In my opinion, the scholarships are give a chance to the poor people and intellectual who are their parent can not advocate them. After they graduate, we might have a lot of human resources who are specialists in each way of their subject and career. Everybody can get it, just you have an attempt and do not give up.Saturday, July 31, 2010

Skater Kim
Skater Kim Yu-na will only appear at the World Championships while staying away from the Grand Prix for this season. As of her announcement the fans won’t see her in the Grand Prix competition of 2010-2011 season, starting from Oct. 22 in Japan. Instead they can see the world No.1 skater’s dance on March 19 in the World Championships. She returned home from Canada to prepare for an ice show, she would not attend the Asian Games in Kazakhstan in February. She also said that she hasn’t yet set a new program. “I didn’t start training yet. After the ice show I’ll make up a schedule with the coaching staff and select the programs,” “First of all I need to recover my normal condition in full though now I am in good shape,” Kim said. The world record holder was expected to shine again at the World Championships in March in Italy, only to finish second. Kim stumbled few times in the short program and ranked seventh — her lowest placement at an ISU event. The Vancouver Olympic gold medalist also revealed that she would come up with a fresh type of performance to new music. I have yet to use many different types of music. I want to perform to a tango or some Latin music,” she said. Kim, who already performed an ice show in May, will perform four times in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province from Friday to Sunday. For this show, Kim launched a new soundtrack “Bulletproof,” — much more up-tempo compared with material previously used to accompany skaters.I think this news reflect practise is extremly essential for success. She realize of this point, so she need to more pratice and come back to stage on the top form. I think when somebody can do something in the top then he will be a idol and recognize.

Lee Young Pyo will quit.....
South Korean international Lee Young-pyo said Tuesday he will retire before the 2014 World Cup. Lee said. "I will not only quit the national squad, but also will retire from my career as a player."Along with star midfielder Park Ji-sung, Lee has been one of the most favored members of the South Korean squad since the 2002 World Cup held on home turf. While his teammates at that time, such as goalkeeper Lee Woon-jae and forward Ahn Jung-hwan, never made it to the pitch during this year's tournament due to their waning abilities, Lee remained a significant axis of the team. The left fullback made 117 A-match caps, in an unmatched consolidation in his position. Lee, former Premier Leaguer with Tottenham Hotspur, made his professional debut in the local K-League in 1999 with Anyang Cheetahs, the predecessor of FC Seoul. He currently plays for Al-Hilal in the Saudi Professional League. His industrious performance captivated then national team manager Guus Hiddink before the 2002 World Cup, allowing Lee the chance to advance to bigger leagues, including the Dutch league's PSV Eindhoven where he made his overseas debut in 2003.
I think his decision-making will impact to team and form of team. His life will go down because he not only quit national squad, but also his job (soccer player). His income will be smaller. So, it is not a good decision for him and his team especially his country.
