Thai's bus

On 26 May, 2010 Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) opened for free trial. It runs from Sathon Road to Ratchaphruek Road. It is a new transit service for Bangkok people. There are 12 bus stop stations. Their buses are air-conditioned and can load about 80 passengers. It will be less traffic jam in the city. It is useful and comfortable for people who use the BTS sky train because passengers can transfer from the BRT to the BTS sky train by a pedestrian bridge to the Chong Nonsi BTS station. Moreover, The BRT service will be free for this period, until 31 August, 2010. Then, it will take a fare about 10 baht for another 4 months. Full service will begin on 2 january, 2011 and the price of the service will be changed too. In the future, there is a plan to expand it. It will be throughout Bangkok such as Nonthaburi line, the Don Mueang-Suvarnabhumi line and the Min Buri-Samrong line.
